what is burg?

══════════════════════════════════════════beaty burg fast food industries, informally known as burg or beaty burg, is a complicated beast dating back to 2014.the original source of burg is an abandoned unity game called citizen burger disorder, a game where you made burgers for people and also burnt money and made rat burgs. the game became an injoke sensation in my small group of friends in 2014, namely two specific users alongside me; fox, CS user lycosa, and hal, the previous holder of the username god. his profile's broken now, sadly.out of these injokes, an entire "universe" with lore that continues to develop today was crafted, and out of that lore the adoption agency found in the forums between 2014 - 2016 was created and posted -- beaty burg adoption agency, a triple joint collab adoption center (before those were banned) between us. we ran raffles and contests practically every three months, could barely give away more pets than we got donated to the agency, and generally just... had a good time.the agency garnered enough regular "customers" / donators that it developed a small fanbase, complete with fanart. it was good,the agency closed in 2016, shortly before these centers were banned, due to sudden and tragic offsite IRL reasons. i kept adding to my agency's group, but eventually gave up due to other IRL reasons personally.the LEGACY of burg, however, hasn't faded at all and now that me & fox are both feeling better and have a new 'employee' crew behind us, we've taken to running pretty much every giveaway we have under the beaty burg fast food industries corporation name!the entire universe continues to have lore added to it and expanded upon; every raffle and giveaway we host pretty much adds to the expansive lore behind the world's worst fast food resturaunt,══════════════════════════════════════════a big part of burg is the dedication to staying "in character" to our universe lore we all were/are! so on threads "sponsored" by beaty burg fast food industries, all 6 employees of the burg franchise, myself included, tend to stay very in character as if we actually were living in this dilapidated, otherworldly, and cryptic "resturaunt".this page serves as a general explaination to the burg universe, and i might add a page that explains the general in-universe lore sometime!in the meantime, remember to praise the burg. how may we serve you today?
